- Review areas and opportunities where unconscious bias can lead to gender inequity in the workplace and identify effective strategies and approaches to prevent, reduce, and eliminate bias in recruitment and hiring, team dynamics, career development, and other organizational processes.

- Understand and identify different forms of individual, organizational, and societal power and privilege

- Strengthen self-awareness, gender intelligence, and practical strategies and approaches to share power and increase equity in the workplace.

- Define allyship and consider practical examples and approaches, limitations and concerns, and the value of sharing and using power and privilege to actively support and defend the rights and dignity of someone else.

- Identify issues and opportunities where allyship can contribute to gender equity in the workplace and assess effective strategies and approaches for individual and organizational allyship.

- Understand the negative impacts of harassment, discrimination, and violence based on gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, and other actual and perceived factors

- Describe the different roles and actions associated with perpetrator, target, and bystander and strengthen awareness of how self-identity and perceived identity relate to different roles and actions

- Understand the difference between being an upstander and a bystander and strengthen practical skills on different approaches and strategies for bystander intervention that can be applied within and outside of the workplace

- Understand the process of gender socialization and how gender norms and stereotypes persist within and outside the workplace for people of all genders and ages.

- Reflect critically on individual and societal ideas of masculinity and what it means to “be a man” and assess how these ideas contribute to or impede diversity, inclusion, and equity inthe workplace.

- Acquire foundational knowledge on feminist theory and advocacy, including historical and current views, perspectives, and issues.

- Identify ways that feminist movements have contributed to improving gender equity within and beyond the workplace.

- Assess opportunities and effective approaches to support feminist campaigns, initiatives, and movements within the workplace.

- Define psychological safety and consider how diversity, inclusion, and equity support safe workplaces.

- Understand what psychological safety is, what it is not, why it is important to them, their colleagues, their team, and the company.

- Understand why a culture of inclusion and psychological safety makes a great place to work.

- Identify individual and societal determinants of mental health and wellness within and outside of the workplace, including workplace stressors or supports and societal stigma.

- Build practical skills for mental health support and advocacy in the workplace.

- Identify effective strategies and approaches to promote mental health among employees.

- Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on the value of work-life balance and caregiving, including flexible working arrangements and leave for parenting and family caregiving.

- Identify effective strategies and approaches to support work-life balance and caregiving at the individual, team, and organizational level.

- Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on the value of mentorship and sponsorship for employee engagement, retention, and leadership development, particularly for individuals who are currently underrepresented in a given profession or workplace.

- Strengthen self-awareness, gender intelligence, and practical skills around mentorship and sponsorship relationships.

- Identify effective strategies and approaches to strengthen mentorship and sponsorship initiatives within and beyond the workplace.

- Strengthen understanding of how unconscious bias around gender and other characteristics can impact hiring, promotion, and compensation decisions.

- Identify effective strategies and approaches to prevent, reduce, and eliminate bias in hiring, evaluation, promotion practices.

- Identify effective strategies and approaches to prevent, reduce, and eliminate inequity in pay and compensation.

- Strengthen self-awareness, gender intelligence, and practical skills around how to prevent and address sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination in the workplace.
